MEET JODY
Welcome to 646 Co., a passion project of mine to establish sustainable fundraising for my family’s school, Hockey Hearts, in Arusha Tanzania. Emboldened by a groundswell of support from my northern Alberta community, I became convinced that the work we are doing in Africa could increase in scope and impact.
To achieve this, I got to work on designing high quality, rugged and versatile sunglasses and apparel in an effort to marry my passion for high quality clothing & accessories and my heart to help children in need.
646 Co. exists as a permanent solution to seasonal fundraising; our family's ongoing commitment to elevating children in Tanzania from poverty to possibility.
OUR WHY
THIS IS HOCKEY HEARTS SCHOOL IN ARUSHA TANZANIA
Years ago I fell in love with the children in the region of Arusha, Tanzania. Shortly after, my family and I established Hockey Hearts School which proudly educates, houses and feeds 20 students a year.
Of course, there are always more children who can benefit from this safe space to grow and learn, so 646 Co. exists as a mechanism to bring modern, versatile apparel to the masses while funnelling significant proceeds made towards the good work being done at Hockey Hearts in Tanzania.
